Aquarium at the Boardwalk is one of the newest things to do in Branson, Missouri, and is unlike any other aquarium you’ve visited. First hint – the massive octopus sculpture that greets guests at the front door. It’s modeled after Aquarius, a Giant Pacific Octopus and one of the Aquarium’s exclusive characters. Q.Are all tickets for specific times?
A. Yup, when you buy your tickets online or at the Box Office, you must select a specific entry time. There are a few quick steps to do this. 1) Choose your date. 2) Choose from a general range of hours. 3) Enter the number of Guests. 4) Choose the specific entry time (shown in 15-minute blocks). On mobile, click the drop down right below the calendar to see the available times.
Q.Do you sell Gift Cards or Tickets that aren’t date & time specific?
Yes! Gift Certificates are available here. You’ll be able to print the certificates from your email confirmation OR forward the email directly to your recipients. They’ll get to choose their own visit date & time in advance with easy ONLINE redemption.
Q.Do you have discounts for Local Residents?
A. Yes! Residents of Boone, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Ozark, Stone and Taney Counties may purchase tickets online or at the Box Office with a special year-round discount. Please visit our Locals Tickets Page.
Q.Do you have discounts for residents of other neighboring communities?
A. Yes! Residents of the greater metro areas of Springfield, Joplin, Ft. Smith and Little Rock qualify for a special on-line only Neighbors Discount. Check your zip code and get your discount tickets on our Neighbors Tickets Page.
Q.Do you offer Military discounts?
A. We’re proud to provide discounts to active duty service members, reservists, veterans and their families. Please click into the shopping cart from the Military Personnel section of our Tickets Page.
Q.Do you have special rates for groups?
A. Yes, we do! Parties of 15 or more can receive a discount by purchasing their tickets through our group tickets page. Non-profit organizations with a tax ID number can receive group discounts for parties of 15 or more through our non-profit groups ticket page.
Q.Are you limited on time once you get into the Aquarium?
A. Once you enter at the stated time on your ticket, there is no limit to the length of time that you can enjoy the Aquarium. IMPORTANT NOTE: For the fish to stay healthy, their bedtime is 11 pm sharp. If your ticket is for 9 pm or later, please arrive on time to get the full experience.
Q.Is the aquarium handicap accessible?
A. Yes! The attraction meets ADA requirements.
Q.Do you rent wheelchairs or scooters?
A. We don’t currently have wheelchairs or scooters for rent, but you’re welcome to visit with your own. The attraction is accessible for both.
Q.What is the FIVE'r ticket?
A. It’s a great value that includes five fun Branson attractions for one ticket price: Aquarium at the Boardwalk, Hollywood Wax Museum, Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, Castle of Chaos, and Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf. The other four attractions are right down the street from the Aquarium at 3030 West 76 Country Blvd. When you buy the FIVE'r Pass, you’ll select a date and time to visit the Aquarium, and you can enjoy the others in any order you choose, beginning on the day your Aquarium visit is scheduled, or any time over the following two days.
Q.Are tickets available at the door?
A. Purchasing tickets at the Box Office is dependent on availability, and capacity is limited. Weekend and holiday tickets often sell out up to two weeks in advance; weekday tickets also sell out. Purchasing tickets online early is recommended.
Q.Do we need reservations?
A. To guarantee your visit to Aquarium at the Boardwalk we do recommend purchasing tickets online two weeks prior to your visit. If there is any remaining availability, tickets will be sold at the Box Office with no reservation needed.
Q.Do Tickets Sell Out?
A. Yes, we do sell out on a regular basis and do not reserve tickets for Box Office purchases. Buying tickets online ahead of your visit is highly recommended.
Q.Are strollers allowed in the aquarium? Do you rent them?
Yes, the attraction is accessible for strollers. We don’t currently rent them, but you’re welcome to visit with your own.
Q.Are there any age restrictions for activities at the aquarium?
Just one. The Submarine Adventure is a 5D ride with loud, fun action and intense seat motion. Lap sitting is not permitted.
For children ages 3-4 to ride, we do require that they sit in a stroller with a secure seat belt or harness. We offer Guests the option of using one provided by the Aquarium, or using their own. We’re sorry but children under 3 are not able to ride.
Q.Do you have a lost and found?
A. Yes, we do. If you’ve lost something, please reach out to us at aq@aquariumattheboardwalk.com with the date and time you visited and a description of the item.
Q.Are you open on holidays?
A. Yes! We’re open 365 days a year. Check here for our hours.
Q.Do you have concessions/food at the aquarium?
A. In our Treasure Trove Gift Shop, we have a wall of Coral Reef Sweets, with more than 70 kinds of candy. Just outside the Aquarium on Branson Boardwalk, you’ll find ice cream and beverage/snack trucks that are also fun photo ops! At Spoony’s Infused Ice Cream, you can select up to three flavors to be swirled into your creamy vanilla or chocolate cone or cup. At the Budweiser Truck, choose from a nice variety of drafts, bottles, seltzers & IPAs, plus salty packaged treats.
Q.Do you have parking?
A. Sure do and it’s free! Our lot is accessible from Glory Road or Wildwood Drive.
